The next Brussels Development Briefing n. 53 on The next generation of farmers: successes and new opportunities wiill be held in Brussels on Tuesday 20th November 2018 (9h00-13h00) at the ACP Secretariat (Avenue Georges Henri 451, 1200 Brussels).

This Briefing will be organised by the ACP-EU Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA), the European Commission (DEVCO, AGRI), the ACP Secretariat and Concord.

It will will feature an exchange of views and experiences on what is required to support the next generation of farmers to increase productivity, have better access to remunerative markets and increased use of technology. It will share best practices and achievements across ACP countries and other leading markets, from the private and public sectors, and will discuss the factors for success, their replicability, and potential for upscaling.

The intended outcome of the Briefing is to contribute towards successful strategies and partnerships that will support the farmers and identify promising opportunities across value chains with insight from policymakers, research networks, private sector representatives, experts, civil society groups, development practitioners, and international organisations.
